Hello everyone, my name is Tom. I’ll be your chair in HRC. This will be my first time chairing, and I sincerely give my appreciation to CCMUN, which gave me the chance. I’ve been in four MUNs, each in different committees. Each time there were different challenges waiting for me. I’ve undergone conditions that very embarrass me. I didn't like the feeling of standing on stage, with nothing in my head but I still have quite a while before the chair rings the bell to bail me from the stage. I also hated when other delegates were talking about the issues and all I could do was chatting with others, pretending to be discussing the solutions because I wasn't well prepared. Though there are enough reasons to create burdens between MUN and me, though I have enough excuses to not join MUNs for the rest of my high school career, I didn't and will never use them. Sure, MUN gave me frustration, it also gave me the taste of failure, but to me, they are all precious experiences. Because of MUN, I know and care more about this world; Because of MUN, I have the courage to spread my thoughts and ideas on stage; Because of MUN, I learned how to negotiate and when to compromise with others. Delegates, remember that it can never be easy to be a MUNer, and that MUN is a long way. Once you step into this club, once you become a delegate, you are students no more. There’s no need to be the best delegate every time, but it is definitely necessary bring out your best attitude during every conference. Hope you are all well prepared in this conference, I’m excited to meet you all at CCMUN!
Aaron Cheng(Kang Chiao International School) Hello fellow delegates! This is your co chair Aaron cheng from Kang Chiao international school in Taipei. Personally, I've attended four MUN conferences included FCMUN FHMUN KCMUN and TUNGMUN. Among those four conference, I've gotten one best delegate and one honourable mention. MUN is about discovering the surrounding environment, awaring the political issues, and participating the meaningful discussion with fellow distinguish delegates! I understand the fact that many of our delegates are first time MUNing and the one and only suggestion id give you guys is TO SPEAK UP AND EXPRESS YOURSELVES. Thank you guys and I'm looking forward to meet you all intelligent people!
